DESCRIPTION:Ever wanted to grow your own food\, or just spend a quiet Sunday surrounded by green things and good people?The DIY Community Garden at SET Social is a shared space for planting\, learning\, and spending time together outdoors. Whether you’re watering seedlings\, pulling weeds\, sharing snacks\, or simply sitting in the sunshine\, there’s always something gentle and satisfying happening in the garden. \n\n\n\nThe garden is looked after collectively by SET Social members\, local neighbours\, and anyone curious enough to get their hands a little dirty. We grow vegetables\, herbs\, and flowers\, and care for the space with curiosity\, collaboration\, and kindness at the heart of things. \n\n\n\nSunday sessions are open\, informal\, and pressure-free. No gardening experience is needed and there’s no expectation to stay the whole time. Bring yourself\, a mug for tea\, and if you like\, a plant or cutting to share. \n\n\n\nWant to get involved?\n\n\n\nDrop by during one of our gardening sessions every Sunday 2-4pm. This month’s session focuses on the whimsical and the magical\, inviting you to explore the theme of spells and enchantments through the medium of collage. \n\n\n\nLed by local artist Banana Holdwin\, the workshop draws inspiration from the fantastical: fairies\, woodland folklore\, tarot imagery\, and ancient rituals. It’s a space to investigate the “weird and wonderful”—from mushrooms and stones to manifestations and witchcraft—while continuing the club’s mission to prioritise experimentation over perfection. \n\n\n\nAs always\, the focus is on the process of making rather than the final product\, with participants encouraged to embrace a playful approach to making. Whether you are creating a visual wish or a surreal woodland scene\, this is an inclusive environment to connect with others and let your imagination roam wild. \n\n\n\nAll materials are provided\, including pencils\, pens\, coloured pencils\, crayons\, and card.
