DESCRIPTION:A group show of work by Julie Brixey-Williams\, Jo Chate\, Sarah Dwyer and Cait Luke-Kelly. Part of the Ealing Open Studios.  \n\n\n\nPV: Wednesday 24 May\, 6-9pm \n\n\n\nOpen: 25 May – 4 June\, Wednesday – Sunday 12-5pm \n\n\n\nAt the moment when Custard Splits\, clotted solids coalesce into new forms and liberated liquid spills more readily into the cracks\, creating an imaginative swivel. Intelligibility is subsequently paused to create an ‘adjacent possible’; a term used to describe a state of untapped potential that exists via porous points of possibility.  \n\n\n\nFeaturing a range of scales and materials\, Custard Splits collages these leaky moments into a playful dialogue of unravelling fantasy & reality\, inviting us to grope in the gaps.

DESCRIPTION:Artists’ open studios\, exhibition\, workshops and market. \nExhibition Opening: Thursday 18 May\, 6-9pm \nMarket open: 18-21 May\, 12pm-6pm \nOn view in the window: 18 May – 4 June\, 24/7 \nJoin us on May 18th\, 2023 for the unveiling of Tower Hill Trinkets\, a group show and open studio-cum-contemporary bazaar in the brand new exhibition window of SET Byward Street. \nFour artists have taken over an old souvenir shop\, reimagining their practices and peeking through the cracks of London’s tourist district. Featuring a slimelit peep show\, an array of colourful hags\, nipples :)\, curtains that watch you while you sleep\, angry pillows of jesmonite\, and Yifan’s gxrlfwend. \nVisit a workshop\, create your own art\, talk to the artists about their work\, and pick up a souvenir to take home in a bustling fantasy marketplace. Featuring new works\, merchandise\, and workshops by Yifan He\, Abi Palmer\, Leily Moghtader Mojdehi\, and Luning Yang. \nAbout SET Byward Street: \nSET Byward St\, located in the heart of London\, is a former commercial unit that has been transformed into an open-plan studio. With the support of the City of London and Outset Contemporary Art Fund\, the space was awarded to four artists as a studio prize.
