SET Club

SET CLUB MEMBERSHIP

SET Club is a members’ Arts & Social Club. Membership gives you access to our venues – SET Social and the SET Woolwich Vault – as well as other members-only events, special projects, discounts & opportunities > The Club is open and affordable with a focus on inclusivity and self-expression.

The Club is for those with an interest in the arts & our programme, as well as the SET community & local communities > studio members are automatically members of the club > we are welcoming to all, with an inclusive ethos always > our venues (clubs) are always non-profit and are always affordable > we run a safer space policy at all of our club venues, and have a welfare team present at busy events.

Individuals are required to become a member at least two days before their intended visit to a SET Club venue. Members are permitted to bring up to three non-member guests per visit.  

For special events, guests can purchase tickets in advance, RSVP (if the event is free) and/or register their name on the door to enter as a guest of the house.’

Our exhibition & project spaces & most of the broader SET Projects programme, as well as the cafe & other daytime activities are always open to all and you do not need to become a member to attend.

SET Peckham 

> SET Social > is an arts & social club for SET members & the local community, with an affordable bar & cocktail menu, pool tables, open all week. On Friday & Saturday we have vinyl DJs playing soul to disco, dub to ska.

> The Cafe > is open 2pm to 6pm Wednesday-Sunday, providing Wi-Fi and plenty of space to meet, work or read or relax.

> Club Wednesdays >

Every Wednesday there’s clubs day and we have a range of clubs to choose from: writing, life drawing, craft or chess club – check the programme for what clubs are happening this week. If you run a club or society and want to use the space to meet on a Wednesday please email [email protected]

> The Garden > SET Peckham Garden will open June 8th. It will host a variety of events & workshops alongside picnic benches & umbrellas for the sunshine. If you have plants to donate whatsapp message 02034223055. The garden closes at 9pm each day.

Our lending library in Peckham! Your membership includes Library membership so you can start borrowing and reading right away.

The library is open from 2pm – 7pm on Fridays & Saturdays.

SET Woolwich

> SET Vault > A performance space & 300 capacity venue in a former bank vault. The Vault is host to experimental and eclectic programme of music & performance. The Vault is open to SET membership; friends of SET, those involved or interested in the arts, as well as the local community.

> SET Woolwich Community Day > Thursdays 1pm – 10pm.

On Thursdays our Community Day provides a community cafe which offers affordable and subsidised hot meals to those who cannot afford, and opens up the common room for SET members to come and eat, drink, work or meet. We welcome community activities, clubs and skill share during Community Day. Please email [email protected] with ideas for clubs. 

> SET Woolwich Community Cafe & Bar > As a part of Community day, our community cafe & bar is open on Thursdays with food served from 1pm – 3pm. Lunch is £5 or free on request. Those who pay subsidise those who can not afford & all income is reinvested into the Cafe. The Cafe is open to all, members & non-members.

> The Garden > SET Woolwich Community Garden is open through out our opening hours, if you’d like to volunteer at the garden get in touch with Chloe.

APPLYING FOR MEMBERSHIP

To apply for membership, fill in the form on the next page. Please read our club policy before applying.

Annual membership is £8, giving you access to SET Social & SET Woolwich Vault and other members only events, discounts & opportunities. Payment for membership is taken on arrival at a club.
