Back To School Fundraiser

11 April @ 14:30 18:00

Join us for an afternoon of unexpected learning, all in support of Refuge.

Back to School is a fundraiser with a twist. Instead of classrooms and textbooks, expect a series of lively, engaging lessons on topics you definitely did not learn about in school.

Across the afternoon, you will be invited into a mix of unconventional sessions designed to spark ideas, challenge perspectives and get people talking. From life beyond our solar system, to the “rejuvenation” craze of the interwar years and its echoes today, to the art of baking the perfect cake, each session offers something different.

Refuge is the largest specialist domestic abuse organisation in the UK. Their services support thousands of survivors, helping them overcome the physical, emotional, financial and logistical impacts of abuse and rebuild their lives. Their mission is to create a world where domestic abuse and violence against women and girls are not tolerated, and where women and children can live in safety.

Tickets do not have a set price. Instead, everyone is invited to donate what they can, with 100% of proceeds going to Refuge.

You can drop into one session or stay for the full afternoon. Each lesson is interactive and discussion-led, with space for questions, sharing ideas and meeting others – all in support of a vital cause.
