‘Body Mapping’ is the tracing around a person’s body to create a life-sized outline, which is then filled in using mixed media processes such as collage, text, painting, colouring etc. This process creates an image that allows its maker to represent multiple aspects of their physical and emotional experience.

During this relaxed 2 hour ‘Body Mapping’ workshop, participants are encouraged to consider how their history, community and emotional state affect their physical experience. Through the use of colour, pattern, text, and symbols, each participant can depict their inner worlds onto their body map to ‘see’ / ‘understand’ themselves + others in the workshop more clearly. (All materials are supplied!)
