Candid – Group Critique for Figurative Artists

Dive into this informal group critique dedicated to causal and chance depictions of people. This is your space to strip away the pretence, find inspiration, get honest feedback, and forge genuine connections with other artists. Everyone is welcome to share work or just be part of the discussion.
Bring your raw vision – from shaky first drafts to shimmering finished pieces. Spontaneous, momentary images are also encouraged. Conversations will centre around the technical edge (form and technique), as well as the conceptual heart (concepts and aesthetics).
Candid was set up as an open platform by artist Tabitha Gammer whilst studying at Central Saint Martins. Since then, crits have been held online, providing a space for artists to explore and champion the ‘candid’ moment in visual culture.
