Folk Club: Spring Equinox Plantlore and Tinctures
21 March @ 14:30 – 16:00
How do we mark the turning of the seasons and reconnect with the plants that grow around us?
Join Folk Club at SET Social for a special Spring Equinox workshop exploring plant folklore and herbal tincture making. Together, participants will learn about herbs traditionally associated with the equinox and create their own tincture to take home.
During the session, you will explore the folklore and traditions connected to different plants, make personalised recipe labels for your tinctures, and set intentions for the season ahead as nature begins to awaken.
The workshop is open to adults and no prior experience is required. All materials are provided.

About the organiser:
Folk Club is a space for the lost, found and newly made folklore and customs of the fair isles of Albion including Éire, Cymru, Alba and England.
The project follows the turning of the year through seasonal customs, storytelling and shared learning. It invites participants to explore the lore of the land and its traditions together, one archive image and twisting tale at a time.
Folk Club is run by Elizabeth Bailey and Eleanor Dempsey.
