Peckham’s Multicultural Plates

17 March @ 17:00 21:00

Peckham’s Multicultural Plates is an evening of community, culture and cuisine, bringing together Peckham’s diverse communities to break bread and celebrate shared stories.

Organised by The Ernest Foundation, a Peckham-based charity promoting health and wellbeing, and supported by Rebel Led Equality, this free gathering celebrates the spirit of iftar and langar— coming together to nourish body and soul —while honouring the rich tapestry of traditions that make Peckham home.

The event will feature a free multicultural feast with dishes shared by local cultural and faith representatives, including langar. All food will be halal.

Alongside the meal, the evening will include:

  • Live music, art and performances from local artists
  • Free health checks and wellbeing signposting with the Southwark Public Health Team
  • Mini craft tables for creative expression and community art-making
  • Opportunities to connect with cultural and faith leaders
  • Space for dialogue, reflection and community building

All are welcome. Come hungry, leave connected.
