Event Series: Permacomputing Club

Permacomputing club

24 August @ 18:30 19:30

Join the Permacomputing Club every Monday, 6.30–7.30pm for a weekly meetup exploring sustainable and resilient approaches to technology. Rooted in community and care, the club is open to anyone interested in sharing skills, learning about low-tech and regenerative computing, and reflecting on technology’s environmental and cultural impact.

Each session emphasises collaborative discussion over solo tinkering. Attendees are encouraged to share something they’ve read, experienced, or worked on, creating space for feedback, advice, and knowledge-sharing.

In a culture dominated by harmful tech practices, including AI, we aim to build a reflective, community-oriented space.

All are welcome, though we particularly encourage women and non-binary participants to join.

Please bring your own tech and have a look at our guiding principles before attending: permacomputing.net/Principles.
