Archive Film Night: Songs for Freedom

The Archive Film Night celebrates the close of this year’s SET Film Festival, taking a closer look at the many roles of collective voice and singing in mobilising social change. SET presents three short archival films that traverse the intersection of singing as both protest and connection. How does the practice of singing bring us together as a community, and make us stronger in ourselves?

SET is excited to welcome south east London’s Avalon Choir to perform as part of the evening, in support and solidarity with Peckham’s ACA Campaign (Aylesham Community Action) as we invite participants to join in building our own collective voice in shaping the future of SET Social’s home, Rye Lane.
