Storytelling in One Image Workshop

As part of the Look at This If You Love Me exhibition at SET Lewisham, join artist Isaac Heard for a focused, hands-on workshop exploring how to capture a full story within a single image.
Through a series of exercises drawn from both cartooning and traditional art, participants will practice editing and minimalism, paring back details to find just the right balance of information for a powerful visual narrative. By the end of the session, each participant will have created one image that conveys an entire story.
What to bring:
- Lots of paper (A4 or A3 sketchbook recommended; A5 also works)
- Pencils and a rubber (or your preferred medium, as long as it can be erased for editing)
The workshop is open to all ages and skill levels (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult). Please bring warm layers as the space may be chilly.
