Job details

Job Title: HR and Office Manager
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 32 hours per week (4 days per week, full-time equivalent)
Salary: £40,000
Pension: 3% employer contribution
Probation: 3 months, terminable on one month’s notice by either party
Reports to: Roland Fischer-Vousden, SET Co-Director
Location: On-site across SET Centres, with flexibility to work from home for specific tasks and adaptable arrangements to meet organisational needs
Additional: Six-monthly reviews to discuss progress, address issues, and re-evaluate objectives

Role overview

The HR and Office Manager will oversee SET’s day-to-day HR and office systems, supporting a growing team while ensuring our internal infrastructure is transparent, scalable and people-centred. Working closely with Directors, managers and the Board of Trustees, the role will help embed best practice in employment, governance and internal organisation, upholding SET’s values, duty of care and commitment to being a fair and ethical employer.

Candidates who are further short-listed will then be invited to a second interview, providing an opportunity to meet more of the team. Second-round interviews are expected to take place during the week commencing 26 January 2026.

The anticipated start date for the role is February / March 2026.
