SET Film Festival ’25
SET Film Festival is an alternative, grassroots platform for contemporary, artist, and archival film, curated by Amina Ali, Ellie Dobbs, and Verity Monroe. Now in its third edition, the festival presents a month of film nights at SET Social, our arts and social club in Peckham, showcasing a wide range of genres, from animation and documentary to drama, experimental, and artists’ moving image.
This year, the festival runs every Thursday from 6 November to 4 December, with an additional night on Saturday 6 December. Doors open 7.15pm, with screenings starting 7.45pm prompt, including a 15-minute interval.
To keep the festival affordable and accessible, tickets are £7 for concessions and £9 for general admission, and our Archive Film Night is free to attend. Every ticket includes a printed programme for the chosen night.
Please note: This festival is open to everyone. You don’t need to be a SET Social member to attend. However, SET Social members can enjoy concession ticket prices.
The festival is realised with support from the Exhibitions Hub, Department of Art, Goldsmiths College.

Programme overview
Spanning six curated nights, the festival presents short films, a feature-length screening, and a free archival night, with each night structured around a distinct theme. Selected screenings include Q&As with the filmmakers, offering audiences insight into the creative processes and ideas behind the films.
You can find full details for each night’s programme and films, and purchase tickets, via Eventive below.
