Accessibility at SET Social

We want SET Social to be a welcoming, comfortable place for everyone to spend time, take part, and feel at ease. Below you’ll find detailed information about access to the building, facilities, transport, and how our team can support your visit.

Step-free access
SET Social is almost entirely step-free.
- Most public areas can be accessed without steps
- The stage in the Hall is accessed via a flight of six steps
- The stage in the Red Bar has a portable ramp available to provide step-free access
If you’d like to use the ramp or need assistance getting to a particular area, please speak to a member of staff.
Entrances
SET Social has two entrances:
- Main entrance
Located at the front of the building at the end of the courtyard path.
This entrance has a flight of three steps. - Step-free entrance
Located on the right-hand side of the courtyard path, accessed via a ramp.
Staff are happy to direct you to the most suitable entrance on arrival.
Facilities
- An accessible toilet is located behind the Red Bar
- The toilet includes grab rails and adequate space for manoeuvring
- Staff are happy to provide a key to the toilet upon request.
If you require accessible seating or specific accommodations for an event or visit, please inform the event organiser in advance. SET staff are also available on site to help on the day.

Events hosted by external organisers
Some events at SET Social are programmed and delivered by external organisers.
For these events:
- Event-specific access requests (such as reserved seating, performance access, or adjustments related to the event itself) should be directed to the event organiser in advance wherever possible.
- Organiser contact details can often be found on SET Social’s event page, or via the external ticketing platform linked from the page (such as Outsavvy or Eventbrite).
If you’re unable to find organiser contact details, you’re very welcome to email us at social@setspace.uk with “Access Assistance” in the subject line, including the event name and date, and we’ll do our best to advise or pass your message on.
On the day of the event, SET Social staff are always available on site to help with access to the building and facilities.
Transport & parking
- Peckham Rye is the nearest train and tube station, offering Southern train line services and London Overground routes on the Windrush line. Both services are available with step-free access.
- Accessible parking spaces are available close to the venue.
Pets & service animals
- Guide dogs and service dogs are very welcome
- SET Social is a dog-friendly venue, and well-behaved dogs are welcome in the space
Please let staff know if you need water or space for your dog during your visit.
Staff support
Our team are familiar with the layout of the building and its accessibility features.
All SET staff are trained to support visitors with access needs and are always happy to help – whether that’s answering questions, offering directions, or making small adjustments to help you feel comfortable.
Ticketing
Companion tickets are available for all patrons that require assistance. In the need of a companion ticket, please contact the event organisers, who will be happy to accommodate (at no extra cost).
