Banner Making Workshop

SET Social, Peckham, on Saturday afternoon on the 18th of May.

This is an open invitation to participate in an informal workshop for individuals and groups to learn and share sewing and crafting skills to participate in the historical tradition of making stitched peace and protest banners.

There will be a few sewing machines and a selection of donated/salvaged materials so you can simply turn up and get involved, or feel free to bring materials and equipment to use/share. But you are welcome to bring more to give more people access to the machines.

This workshop aims to use all dead stock fabrics, old clothes and charity shop finds etc, so ask your local charity shop if they have unsellable sheets or fabrics and bring them along!
