SET Film Festival Accelerator Programme
A free three-month incubator offering bespoke curatorial support, peer exchange, and mentorship to three UK-based filmmakers and moving-image practitioners navigating today’s funding landscape. This hybrid programme provides a collaborative space designed to help emerging practitioners refine, complete, and showcase an active film or video project in the production or post-production stage.
Applications are now closed for the 2026 cohort.
About SET Film Festival
SET Film Festival is an independent, grassroots platform for contemporary, artist and archival film, curated by Amina Ali, Ellie Dobbs and Verity Monroe.
Founded in 2023, the festival has developed into an international platform for experimental practices, emerging voices and artists’ moving image that sits outside conventional exhibition and distribution contexts.
Held every November at SET Social in Peckham, the festival unfolds across a month of weekly film nights, including a short film programme, a feature presentation and a free archival film and performance night.

Past editions
Previous editions have brought together international and local filmmakers working across a range of forms, with each programme shaped around a distinct theme through dialogue between the works.
Accessibility and inclusion
SET Film Festival is committed to making both its programme and submissions accessible and inclusive. We welcome filmmakers from a wide range of backgrounds, especially emerging and underrepresented voices, and aim to keep ticket prices genuinely affordable so the festival remains accessible to a broad audience.
