Clay Reincarnations Workshop

This workshop seeks to teach children to make their own “power amulets” made of clay. These objects serve both to protect and to empower. The artist, Aileen Gavonel, will speak to them about the importance of establishing a corporeal connection to the clay they will be working with, since it entails a certain respect towards the earth. The children will learn to “listen” to the clay and to create magical objects based on what the material tells them it wants to become.

It is not necessary to bring any materials. Children must be accompanied by someone 16 years old or above.

The workshop will be taught both in English and in Spanish.
