Club Bananas invites you to SET Social for a relaxed and experimental workshop making art with oil pastels.
This event marks the launch of their new series, “Experiments With…“, where each session explores a different creative medium. For this inaugural workshop, you’ll be making art outdoors in SET Social’s community garden, taking inspiration from the garden plants and ambiance, or simply doodling and playing freely.
Club Bananas events are inclusive and low-pressure, focusing on the creative process rather than worrying about the outcome. It is a chance to let your inner child lead, embrace curiosity, and play with artistic mediums in a loose, abstract way.
Guests are welcome to choose their own motif or follow Artist Banana’s lead. There’s zero expectation to draw in a realistic style – abstract and surrealist approaches are fully embraced!
All abilities welcome, with no prior art experience necessary. All core materials are provided, but feel free to bring any additional supplies you’d like to incorporate (e.g. pens, stickers, sketchbooks, or coloured paper).
