Join us at SET Social for Films for Gaza: Palestine Fundraiser Double Bill, a special screening event raising funds for urgently needed medical supplies for Gaza. This event features two compelling films, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers and a panel discussion with special guests.
Films Screening:
Freedom to Run (75 mins, dir. Cairsti Russell and Stephen Sheriff)
Palestinian runners face daily travel restrictions under occupation. This documentary follows the Right to Movement group in Palestine and a team from Glasgow training for marathons, exploring shared humanity amid differing daily realities.
Occupied Skies (20 mins, dir. Daniel Easterman and Woody Morris)
In Burin, West Bank, volunteers hold an annual kite festival despite the risks. Their act of cultural resistance strengthens community ties and asserts their connection to the land.
