Part jam session, part open hangout. Friends of Music and Life is a monthly community gathering for artists, musicians, writers, and anyone looking for a friendly spot to get together, play music, and share ideas.

Organised by Mohamed Ghrab and friends, each session offers an informal space to play together, learn new songs, explore global sounds, and discover music in different languages. But it’s not just for musicians – there are no strict rules on what “counts” as taking part. You’re equally welcome to bring a notebook, read a poem, sketch in the corner, tell a story, or simply grab a drink and listen.

Open to all skill levels with zero experience needed. Feel free to bring instruments, poems, sketchbooks, or whatever you’re currently working on.
