The Marx Reading Group is a monthly space for reading and discussing Capital together. The aim is to make Marx’s writing accessible by working through it slowly, sharing thoughts, questions and ideas as a group.

Everyone is welcome, whether you are new to Marx or have read him before. There’s no need for prior knowledge, and all readings are available for free online.

Each session focuses on a set section of Capital, with time for open discussion and contributions from everyone who wants to speak. July’s session will focus on parts 5-10 of chapter 20 (Volume 2). At the end of each meeting, the group agrees on the next reading and invites volunteers to introduce sections at future sessions.
