16 August @ 14:00 – 18:30

Service Please! is back for an afternoon of communal making and dining at SET Social. The event begins at 2pm with a wool felting workshop led by Imogen Cripps, followed by a three-course meal served in the community garden from 4:30pm.
We’ll be using wet-felting techniques – a magical process that transforms raw wool into fabric – to create beautiful lengths of matting for the SET community garden to use over the next growing season. The activity is open to all ages and abilities, with Imogen and a volunteer on hand to assist throughout.
Afterward, we’ll share a delicious three-course set menu lovingly prepared by the Service Please! team and volunteers. Designed to make the most of available seasonal, surplus, and locally grown produce, food will be served family-style to share across tables, so expect to be seated with others!
We expect the event to wrap up around 6:30pm. The bar will be open throughout for drinks and refreshments.
