Looking for a relaxed Easter Sunday filled with local creativity, good food and familiar faces?

SET Social’s Easter Sunday Community Day and Market returns on 5 April, bringing together local makers, neighbours, artists and friends for a springtime afternoon of browsing, chatting and spending time together.

Expect a lively mix of indoor and outdoor stalls filled with handmade goods, vintage finds, ceramics, prints, zines, collectables and baked treats, with a few seasonal surprises along the way. Alongside the market, there will be drop-in workshops throughout the day, plus a café and bar open from start to finish.

Whether you’re meeting friends, bringing family, or just fancy a gentle wander, this is a free, open event designed as a welcoming space to support local makers and enjoy a slower Easter Sunday.

Please note that we kindly ask visitors not to bring outside drinks, as all bar and café proceeds go directly towards supporting our work.

Food

Food will be available on the day from Out of Plates, serving a special spring bake pop-up alongside the market.

Freshly baked, plant-based scones take centre stage, with seasonal flavours inspired by cherry blossom, citrus and spice. It’s a small, limited menu made for the day, so come early if you don’t want to miss out.

Workshops

Gardening workshop with the SET Social DIY Community Garden

A relaxed, drop-in session inviting you to get involved with the community garden. Expect planting, sharing tips, chatting, and learning more about how the garden is cared for collectively. No experience needed.

Collage drop-in session (theme: freshness)

Centred around the theme of Freshness, this workshop draws on springtime energy, Easter festivities, florals, decorative patterns and colour. Drop by to experiment with collage, meet other creative people and see where it takes you. No experience needed and all materials are provided.

Come along anytime between 2-5pm and get involved.

Call-out for market traders

Calling all makers, creators, hustlers, collectors, and hoarders – come be part of our Easter market!

Stall options:

• Inside Small Round Table 60cm
• Outside Picnic Table Pitch (Garden)

Prices vary between £5-8 depending on size of stall.

Important information

• Café and bar open all day; proceeds support SET’s charitable projects.
• Stall setup begins at 11:30am.
• Market opens to the public from 12pm and closes at 5pm.
• Pack down stalls by 5pm.
• Event is indoors with limited plug sockets; bring charged card readers or power banks.
• No parking on site.
• Wheelchair and step-free access available, including a disabled toilet.
• Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
