Social Mapping with Oscar Murillo as part of SET Social’s Community Day & Market

We are excited to be collaborating with Oscar Murillo, inviting you to take part in free drawing sessions as part of of an international collaborative artwork for the 36th São Paulo Biennial. These sessions are part of an ongoing project, titled ‘social mapping’, that are a celebration of collective spirit anchored by the exercise of drawing and mark-making.

You will be free to draw and doodle on blank canvas with pens, pencils, crayons and biros. The resulting canvases will be sent to São Paulo, where they will be installed on scaffolding structures in the city’s Ibirapuera Park. Biennial visitors will then be invited to paint atop these marked canvases, creating an evolving, collective artwork.
