Spontaneous Fermentation presents a mixture of sound, sculpture, material explorations, living organisms, and photographic works, with the aim of exploring the involvement of non-human collaborators and challenging the traditional perspective of the artist.

The exhibition will explore potential forms of artistic creation, including microbial growth, fermentation, light waves, decomposition, sound waves, and vegetal growth. It acknowledges and pays homage to the processes and actions that occur almost entirely without human involvement, despite our tendency to assert ownership over their results. In doing so, it seeks to recognise the significant contribution made by our collaborative counterparts.
