Thursday 5 October, 6.30-8.30pm workshop with Lucy Mayes of London Pigment.
Join Lucy Mayes of London Pigment for a special collaborative intensive pigment making workshop. In this two hour session we will create a palette of pigments derived from found materials. These colours will then be made into paints & inks and used to tint, stain and dye textiles for use on the body. A selection of materials made from this workshop will be collated by Lucy into a garment which will be exhibited within the exhibition space.
Sunday 8 of October 12pm- 2.30pm we will be hosting family orientated workshop with CoCo.
“In response to the ‘Well Worn’ exhibition CoCo invites local children (and their adults) to express themselves by making fabric badges they can wear out on the streets of Ealing. Expect itchy wool, recycled textiles, and safety pins. What you make is up to you”
