Welcome to SET Social
SET Social is our not-for-profit arts and social club in Peckham, bringing together a café, bar, library, and garden under one roof. Operating under a Club Premises Certificate licence, the space runs as a members’ club, with membership helping to keep the doors open and the venue in everyday use as a community-led arts and social centre.
At the heart of SET Social is an exciting and diverse arts and music programme, spanning everything from screenings and workshops to live music and DJ sets. Open seven days a week, the space invites people to drop in – whether that’s for a quiet coffee, time in the library or garden, or a late night at the bar.
Membership costs just £12 a year and is reinvested directly into the space, while also supporting SET’s wider charitable projects across London. As a member, you have full access to the venue, events, and late nights, and you’re welcome to bring guests along. With an inclusive ethos always, SET Social remains open and welcoming to all, prioritising affordability, accessibility, self-expression, and a community-focused approach.

Explore the space
Café and bar
The café runs Wednesday to Friday, 10am to 6pm, and weekends from 2pm to 6pm. Drop by for coffee, snacks, and free Wi-Fi. The bar opens daily at 6pm, serving affordable drinks and cocktails, plus there’s a pool table for laid-back evenings. Please note: while guests are welcome to enjoy the café, bar access is reserved for members and their guests only.
Beer garden
Open daily until 9:30pm, our beer garden is a relaxed spot for workshops, picnics, and casual meet-ups. Come along to community event or simply enjoy the fresh air with friends.
Library corner
An evolving space for reading, ideas, and exchange. Announcements of its next chapter to come shortly.
Community garden
A shared plot for growing food and plants, cared for by members and local neighbours. Meet us every Sunday from 2pm to 4pm to help tend the beds, learn new skills, or simply enjoy the greenery.

From exhibitions and screenings to workshops, clubs, and community-led events, our arts and music programme is always evolving. Weekly groups include poetry readings, writing sessions, life drawing, movement classes, yoga, and more.
On Fridays and Saturdays, the space comes alive with vinyl DJs spinning soul, disco, dub, ska, and beyond.

Accessibility
SET Social is largely step-free, with a ramped entrance and an accessible toilet on site. Some events are hosted by external organisers. Access requests for these can usually be made via the event page or ticketing platform.
