
Open Studios 2025
This autumn, explore London’s vibrant grassroots art scene. Throughout September and October, SET throws open its doors for its annual Open Studios, a city-wide celebration of creativity across eight sites and hundreds of artists.
From painting and sculpture to ceramics, textiles, moving image, and design, this is your chance to step inside working studios, meet the artists, and enjoy free refreshments in a friendly, welcoming space.
The events are free and open to all. No booking required.
When and where
Our Open Studios take place across seven sites in London. Each event has its own focus and community:

Tabernacle and Titchfield Studios –
18 September (6-10pm)

Exhibitions and highlights

Scaffolds – SET 91, Tabernacle
Visit our new contemporary arts gallery SET 91 and see its inaugural exhibition Scaffolds (12 September – 5 October), bringing together twelve UK-based and international artists experimenting with grids, patterns, repetition, and everyday materials.

Spotlight on SET Ceramics
Visit SET Ceramics, our new community ceramics studio on Crutched Friars (near Fenchurch Street Station). Fully equipped with wheels, a kiln, and dedicated workstations, the space is open for visitors to meet makers, explore the studios, and learn about upcoming courses and workshops.

Look At This If You Love Me – SET Lewisham
Join us on 9 October (6–10pm) for the closing of Look At This If You Love Me at SET Lewisham Retail Park. This group show explores experimental visual storytelling inspired by comics, zines, and DIY culture, reframing often solitary encounters into shared experiences. Alongside the exhibition, the event will feature live music and performances.
