Team Pottery Workshops

Step away from the usual pace of work and spend time making together. These private, two-hour sessions offer workplace groups a direct, hands-on introduction to clay with options for wheel throwing or hand-building.

Guided by a practising ceramic artist, the session balances a relaxed, social atmosphere with real technical intent. You’ll get your hands dirty learning core construction techniques, shaping raw clay into a functional piece of stoneware entirely from scratch.

We look after everything logistically, including providing all tools, materials, and safety equipment. Sessions are suitable for complete beginners while offering enough technical depth to engage those with prior experience.

Workshop options

Hand-Building Only (Up to 10 people)

Gather around the studio table to learn core hand-building techniques including pinching, coiling, and slab construction. You’ll design and sculpt a unique cup, vase, or plant pot, focusing on surface textures and organic forms.

Wheel Throwing and Hand-Building (Up to 8 people)

A lively split session that offers the best of both worlds. Your team will divide their time between hand-building at the table and learning the basics of centring clay on the potter’s wheels.

Wheel Throwing Only (Up to 4 people)

A focused introduction dedicated entirely to learning the basics of wheel throwing.
