We are please to announce two more MONTH FREE STUDIO PRIZES for Lewisham Residents in 2024.
Applicants to the residency must:
- Live in Lewisham, proof of address is to be supplied on application acceptance.
- Never have completed an art or design BA or MA. Applicants who have done short courses and art and design foundations at universities are allowed. If prospective applicants have started and not completed art and design BA and/or MA they are eligible to apply.
- Be 18+ years old.
- Have a suitable practice for the studios. Unsuitable practices include those that involve amplified music, kilns or hot work e.g. welding.
Residency Overview:
- 2 x 6-month residencies for an artist or maker (see definitions below).
- Application deadline 3rd December 2023
- RESIDENCY 1 start date early January 2024. End date June 28th 2024.
- RESIDENCY 2 start date July 1st 2024. End date late December 2024.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Please submit your application in an A4 PDF, up to 3 sides inc. supporting images. Videos/voice recording also accepted. Email your submission to [email protected] by the 3rd of December 2023.
- up to 200 words describing your art practice, with up to 4 supporting images.
- up to 200 words describing how the location of SET Lewisham Retail Park specifically supports your practice.
- up to 200 words describing how the residency would support your practice.
- Submit an overview plan on how you would use the residency time.
- Please let us know if you have a preference for either RESIDENCY 1 or RESIDENCY 2 dates.
