SET expands its South London network with SET Wimbledon, a new arts centre offering guaranteed affordable workspace until 2028 for artists and community organisations.

SET is looking for someone with experience running cultural venues, bars and/or other public spaces who is comfortable managing day-to-day operations, events delivery, bar and cafe operations, hospitality standards, staff management, scheduling, stock management, financing, licensing and safety.  Deadline 6 May 2026.

SET is partnering with Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London (UAL), on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership supported by Innovate UK to explore new ways of identifying and adapting vacant buildings into affordable artist studios.

SET Social’s Community Garden and DIY Food Growing Project is entering a new phase thanks to Cleaner Greener Safer funding from Southwark Council. The project is transforming a once disused space into an accessible, sustainable and community-led green space in Peckham.

SET Social is launching a new six-week programme of free Friday afternoon workshops this spring, supported by Southwark Council’s Neighbourhood Fund. Open to residents of all ages and abilities across Southwark, the sessions offer a welcoming space to connect through creativity.

SET is pleased to announce a new arts centre opening in Deptford. Based in a former offices and hall building in SE8, SET Deptford will provide genuinely affordable studios for artists, with a focus on supporting creative communities in the local area.
